Drug War: Nigerian and Cameroonian National Arrested With Cocaine In India –

The Crime Branch Unit I of Mira-Bhayandar Vasai-Virar Police has seized cocaine worth Rs 22.3 crore after arresting three people — a Nigerian national, a Cameroon national and a local from Bhayandar.
The Crime Branch found 282 capsules of cocaine. The discovery has forced the Crime Branch to look into the angle use of humans as mules to transport drugs, as drugs in the form of capsule packaging are rarely found in India, police said.



On April 15, the crime branch Unit I raided a house in Motilal Nagar Bhayandar east and arrested Sabina Nazir Shaikh, 42, after a tip-off that she had stored drugs. About 12 kg of cocaine worth Rs 17.74 crore was seized in the raid..
While questioning her she confessed that she confessed that this lot was given to her by a Nigerian national Andy Ubabudike Onyinse, 45, a resident of Mira Road (East). When the cops raided his house. they found 2.6 kg of cocaine worth Rs 3.90 crore.


He further confessed that he had got this lot from a Cameroon national Christable Enjei, staying at Evershine city, Vasai East. Here the cops seized 433grams of cocaine worth Rs 65 lakh. In all these three raids the cops also found around Rs 3 lakh in cash, US dollars and the currency of Nigeria.
