Breaking: Former Principal Secretary To Okowa, Arrested ~ Sixt-Media Lane Consult
The Former Principal Secretary to the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Mr Hillary Ibegbulem, was yesterday arrested by men of the Inspector General of Police, popularly known as the ‘IG squad’ in Abuja.
According to a source, it was gathered that Mr Ibegbulem was arrested over certain allegations involving his deadly roles bothering violence and malpractices in the last general election, where two vehicles were reportedly set ablaze in his community, Ute-Okpu, in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The vehicles were said to belong to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the story has it that they were on an electoral mission from the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at Owa-Oyibu, headquarters of Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State, when they were attacked by hoodlums.
Mr Ibegbulem, was arrested shortly after the ‘IG Squad’ declared him wanted for electoral violence.
The source also said that he is currently facing interrogations from the authority.
