ABUJA AGOG AS HON. CHAMBERLAIN DUNKWU CELEBRATES HIS BEAUTIFUL WIFE ON HER BIRTHDAY

Friends, families and colleagues gathered on Wednesday, the 24th of April, 2024 at the rooftop axis of the prestigious B2B Restaurant, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja in honour of the wife of the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Speaker of House of Representatives, Mrs Joy Chamberlain Dunkwu, as she became a year older.

It was a colourful event as the gathering was a rainbow of personalities from all walks of life, including the amiable wife of the Speaker of House of Representatives, Hajiya TJ Abas, who represented her dear husband in her capacity.
Other dignitaries included Honourable Members of the House of Representatives, from the northern, eastern, western and southern Nigeria, as well as some powerful political stalwarts accross the country.

Also present at the event were political associates and kinsmen to Hon. (Dr) Chamberlain Dunkwu from Ika Federal Constituency, including a former member of Delta State House of Assembly, that represented Ika South Constituency, Hon. Noye Philips, as well as another APC chieftain and business mogul, Hon. Victor Odiase and a legal practitioner cum Media Maestro, Hon. Barr. Stanley Mbulu, who was the APC Delta North Senatorial Campaign Spokesman, in the 2023 General Election.

The Special Guest of Honour and wife of the Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hajiya TJ Abas, who represented her husband, described the celebrant as an astute model of perfect womanhood.
She noted that Mrs Joy Chamberlain Dunkwu is a woman that the league of women all over the world should be proud of, even as she is soaring in her career, dazzling in her personality and having diligently and dutifully excelled in her admirable position as a wife and mother.
She further stated that the calibre of people present at the occasion, who have come to honour her is a testimony of her uniqueness and prayed to God almighty, for the grace for her to celebrate many more years in the best of health.

On his part, the wonderful husband of the celebrant, Hon.(Dr) Chamberlain Dunkwu, who was elated and full of gratitude, appreciated the wife of the Speaker and her husband for their kind gestures.
He described the Speaker of the House of Representatives as an amazing boss whose character can best be described as that of an excellent good shepherd, who is ever ready to sacrifice his comfort and privilege for his subjects.
He then began the journey of eulogy on his dear wife, who is the subject matter of the day.
The Ute-Okpu-born political giant, used the opportunity to pay a memorable and emotional tribute to his darling wife.

According to him;
“I can’t thank God enough for the special gift of such a rare Angel whom He has chosen as my wife.
She has been a pillar and source of strength to me all these years and in my next life, if given the privilege, I will choose her again as my one and only wife”

Hon. Dunkwu also expressed his gratitude to the various guests including the numerous Honourable Members of the Green Chambers that created time out of their busy schedules to honour his wife and prayed the Lord to grant each and every invitee their heart desires and journey mercies home.

Highlights of the grand event was the cutting of the birthday cake, presentation of gifts to the celebrant and group photographs.
