The Members of Celebrities For Democracy Movement (C4DEM), has congratulated His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II on his reinstatement as the 14th Emir of Kano.

In a statement signed by the Convener , Amb Prince Sixtus Opara on Friday, expressed excitement upon hearing the news of the reinstatement of the fearless quintessential and outspoken Royal father and the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Khalifa Sanusi II.

As an outspoken body who believes in the rule of law and the need for the leaders to be held accountable at all time, we share same vision with his Royal Highness Emir sanusi the 14th and will always support him to succeed, while rendering his wealth of knowledge and leadership strategies to the good people of Kano state.

Prince Sixtus Opara, a renowned Filmmaker/ Media Consultant who is also the Publisher of and CEO of Sixt-Media Lane Consult Ltd, the Publishers Of sixtmedialane.com (one of the leasing online newsblog) urged the people of Kano state to support the Emir and the government of kano state to succeed in providing the dividends of democracy to the state, while condemning the unjust act that culminated in his detronment illegal removal in the year 2020 as anti people policy and a rape to democracy and urged the political actors across the country to be weary of such in the future as such acts are capable of fueling crisis that could derail the gains of our democracy as a people .

Celebrities For Democracy Movement noted that Sanusi’s reinstatement by the Kano State Government at this time shows that Muhammad Sanusi II’s dethronement on March 9, 2020, was against the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kano State.

We urge the spiritual leader of the Tijanniyah Sufi order of Nigeria, Emir Muhammad Sanusi II, to lead millions of the adherents Muslim faithful of the Sufi order in Nigeria with love, wisdom and courage while bringing lasting peace, justice, equity and fairness to all in the city of Kano.

As a shining light to this wonderful generation, we wish the 14th Emir of Kano a successful and fruitful reign that will bring progress and prosperity to the people of the State and Nigeria as a whole, long live the Emir, long live the good people of Kano, long live Nigeria.
