“I Don’t See The Hunger Nigerians Are Complaining About” – Bayo Onanuga Sparks Reactions, Lists Tinubu’s Achievements

Presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga, has stirred massive reactions online after stating that he does not see the level of hunger many Nigerians complain about despite the current economic situation in the country.

Speaking during a recent interview, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy argued that the Tinubu administration has delivered significant achievements that should not be ignored. According to him, several policies and projects introduced by the government have improved opportunities for Nigerians. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Onanuga pointed to the ongoing Coastal Road project, the introduction of student loan schemes, and the increase in the national minimum wage as evidence that the government is making progress. He maintained that the administration has increased the minimum wage by more than 100 percent and expanded access to education financing for students.

His comments have, however, generated heated debates on social media, with many Nigerians insisting that the rising cost of food, transportation, rent, and basic necessities tells a different story.

While supporters of the government argue that reforms take time to produce results, critics insist that many families are struggling to survive amid inflation and economic hardship.

The statement has once again reignited the national conversation about the true state of the economy and whether ordinary Nigerians are feeling the impact of the government’s policies.
