WHO IS AFRAID OF OKOWA
Whenever the lion makes an appearance within a vicinity, do you notice the supersonic exit of other members of that habitat as they shiver and scamper for their safety?
This is a reflex action that is fundamentally designed and defined by nature, and it is also applicable elsewhere, especially in the human race where politics and its affairs shapen our coexistence.
Every animal is conscious of its size, capacity and capability and need no professor to lecture it over what is bigger or stronger.
Intimidation is a coin that has two unequal sides;
The intimidator on one side, will always outweigh the intimidated on the other side.
That is why an igbo proverb has it that;
*”When the giant masquerade shows up in an event, the already belittled smaller ones will immediately find their way out of the place”*
As political tensions are rising in the country and as the scenario in Delta state, is not looking different as well, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa’s aspiration on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, is already terrorising the camp of his political opponents.
According to political observers and commentators, one thing is predominantly noticeable in the race to the ‘Red Chamber’ for Delta North Senatorial District.
Opposition politicians and their flock of ‘mischief makers’ are afraid of the Immediate Past Governor of Delta State’s giant political profile.
Okowa, who is often described as a ‘chief political strategist’ has a remarkable and indescribable political influence that is dreaded all over the country.
This is ultimately the fear of others as far as the 2027 political episode is concerned.
This apprehension ‘syndrome’ has been the reason for the multiplication of petitions, fueling of calumnies, rekindling of defamations, activation of blackmails and increment of media trials against him in recent times.
His political strength and strides are unmatched and unparalleled.
His opponents, who are simply afraid of his ‘towering personality’ are very familiar with the story of the cockroach whose ego pushed into confronting the chicken and later found itself in a gizzard.
Now, they have exhausted their fake promises to the people and have opted to distract the Aniomas with fake news regarding Okowa;
*”Okowa this… Okowa that!!!”*
Just like the primitive market women who have become very idle in the middle of the day because of low patronage from customers.
The catalogue of political campaign, is not a glass of wine or champagne;
Every page requires that aspirants or candidates sell their manifestos and their manifestations to the electorates across board before the election.
But instead of maintaining the rules of the game by focusing on issue-based campaigns, the weightless and clueless politicians who are already bereft of political ideas now prefer to sponsor negative media propaganda against their opponents, so as to cover up the emptiness and weakness of their own profiles and proposals.
As a mark of precedence, the prominence of Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa is already pulling winning strings in the biggest political race in Delta North.
He has the potentials and credentials to beat any opponent at the polls, no matter the time and season.
Okowa, may be a perfect gentleman, but he is also a tough political dynamite who is wired to blow off the structures in the camp of his detractors and expose them to climatic and pathetic ridicules.
With their poorly planned, prematurely presented, cheaply channeled and erroneously executed media onslaught against a dearly demanded, duly desired and passionately preferred product like Okowa, his opponents have made the worst of mistakes in their fruitless and aimless political adventures.
They will continue in this labour of lost, until sunset when it will become too dark for them to trace back their staggering steps and all their efforts will continue to hit the walls of futility and nullity.
Okowa is a man of the people and no social blackmail, media propaganda or character assassination can stop him from becoming the Senator Representing Delta North Senatorial District in 2027.
All these childish and clownish, baseless and senseless, poorly scripted and badly acted drama, all in a bid to defame Okowa are like the effect of a snake venom on the formidable shell of a tortoise, as far as a political enigma like Okowa is concerned.
Meanwhile, the condemnations by the generality of Delta Northerners against these liars are testimonial to the fact that the Anioma people are not moved by ‘fake news’ and ‘cheap blackmails’.
The act of recruiting and remunerating a bunch of despicable and desperate media rats who now litter everywhere in the media space with lines of lies and notes of nonsense, just to get at Okowa is a sign of political frustration and failure.
Whoever is intimidated and frustrated, simply because Okowa is naturally gifted with the grace and practically positioned in the place to win any political race, should humbly go to him and enroll in his political school, rather than playing the role of a sentimental fool.
Whoever is afraid of Okowa, should be man enough to own up and come clean, instead of engaging every specie of media urchins and charlatans to bore the netizens with their monotonous articles that are crafted with distortions and distractions.
Okowa is a man of few words and result oriented strategies, whose leadership of the people over the years have been positively eventful and basically fruitful.
Now, that it is absolutely and evidently clear that he ( Okowa) bought his Senatorial Nomination Forms, expressing his interest to vie for the senatorial position in Delta North, come 2027 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), submitted same and is confirmed to have been duly screened and certified for the primary elections in the next few days, what will now be the fate of the overrated antelope that arrogantly and intentionally walked into a lion pride to taunt the patriarch, just when the brutal ‘boss’ was strategizing and anticipating a sumptuous meal?
