TPI Strengthens Ties with NILDS: A Step Towards Collaborative Governance
The Progressive Institute (TPI), a leading think tank of the All Progressives Congress (APC), recently strengthened its partnership with the Nigerian Institute of Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) through a strategic visit.
The delegation from TPI, led by Dr. Lanre Adebayo, Director General of TPI, met with the Director General of NILDS, Dr. Abubakar Mohammed, and his team.
The visit aimed to explore areas of synergy and collaboration between the two institutions, focusing on research, policy development, and capacity building. The TPI team included Barr. Ego Queen Ezuma, Director of Legal Services, Alhaji M Sanusi Kiru, Director of Program and Training, Dr. Bassey Ibom, Director of Finance, and Prof. Abbas, Director of Administration.
Discussions centered on joint research initiatives, policy dialogues, and training programs that could benefit both institutions and contribute to Nigeria’s development. Dr. Abubakar Mohammed welcomed the TPI delegation, highlighting NILDS’ commitment to promoting legislative excellence and democratic governance.
Dr. Lanre Adebayo emphasized TPI’s interest in collaborating with NILDS to enhance policy research and support Nigeria’s development agenda. The meeting concluded with agreements on potential joint projects and exchanges.
