Pastor Tunde Bakare: “ Before I got married to my wife, she was working with Union Bank with a salary of N375. Mine was N710 as a lawyer . Out of my earnings,I pay my tithe and offering, pay my mother N50 every month, give my wife N200 for housekeeping. I never asked of her salary. Whatever was left of my earnings, I would manage it for transportation to work and back.”

My thoughts
– Pst Bakare is a good son and husband. He took care of his widowed mother and made sure his wife was treated as a queen! He didn’t ask to share the bills 50:50. He didn’t ask her what she was bringing to the table. He didnt bother about her salary.
– Pst Bakare said he manages the remaining money to work! This is deep! Women would give their lives and unalloyed loyalty to any man that is selfless and puts her and the kids first. They would do anything for such a man! Little wonder they have a successful marriage!
– Finally,I encourage men to emulate Pst Bakare’s style in marriage however in a case where the man is genuinely financially incapacitated, the woman should honourably and respectfully take over!
