Abuja Goes Agog: UNAA Abuja Felicitates with Super Cop Ben Okolo on his Promotion to Police DIG(Photos) - Sixt-Media Lane

Members of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association Abuja Branch recently Paid a Courtesy Call to one of their Illustrious Alumnus and Renowned Security Doyen Mr Ben Okolo fdc on his Recent Promotion to the Rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police.

The Delegation comprised of Exco Members, Elders and Other Members of the Branch.

In his Opening Address the Branch President Dim Emeka Obasi Extolled the Virtues of DIG Okolo describing him as a Thorough Bred Professional who has brought Great Fame and Admiration to the University of Nigeria and Nigeria as a Whole.

Other Prominently Alumni Members in the Delegation Such as High Chief Engr Dr Johnny O Chukwu FNSE Rtd Federal Permanent Secretary of the FCT, Princess Vivian Atuanya Fmr Rotary Abuja President, Barr Walter C Odoh the Legal Advisor and Mr Obinna Ijere the Director UNN Liaison Office Abuja all took turns to Shower Encomium on the DIG and Urged him not to Rest of his Oars in discharging his duties in his New Position.

DIG Okolo, While Responding Thanked Members of the Alumni Association Profusely for the Honour done him and Pledged to be more Committed in the Activities of the Alumni Association.

The Highlight of the Visit was the Melodious Rendition of the Alumni Song as well as the Presentation of a Big Customized Congratulatory Card to DIG Okolo by the Branch President Dim Emeka Obasi and Decoration of the DIG with a UNAA Abuja Medal of Honour by Fmr UNAA Abuja Branch President, Rtd FCT Commissioner of Police and Owelle of Onicha-Ugbo Dr Chris Atugokoh ALOHA.
