Nigerian Women On The Spotlight: Nigeria’s D’Tigress Beat Mali to Win Women’s AfrooBasket 2025 – Championship – SIXT-MEDIA LANE
The 2025 women’s Afrobasket has ended in Abidjan with Nigeria’s D’Tigress beating Mali.
D’Tigress trailed in the first quarter 21-26, but bounced back to claim the 2nd & 3rd Quarters (20-15) respectively.
In the 4th Quarter, the defending champions showed class beating Mali (17-8, winning with a total (78-64) points.
They are the first team to win five consecutive trophies in the tournament.
They haven’t lost a game in the tournament in 10 years!
This is their seventh Women’s AfroBasket trophy.
