BULLETPROOF TRUTH: A  REBUTTAL TO “GENESIS OF SIPHONING LGA FUNDS IN IMO” – THE LIES OF A COWARD CALLED PARADOX

Issued by: Bring Back Ohakim (BBO) 2027 – Directorate of Strategic Communications

*Introduction:* Enough of These Cowardly Attacks

We have watched with restrained discipline, as paid pens and anonymous propagandists—like the faceless creature hiding under the name “Paradox”—continue to vomit lies against His Excellency, Dr. Ikedi Godson Ohakim, former Governor of Imo State (2007–2011), a man whose name remains a benchmark for reformist governance in Imo’s democratic history.

But now the gloves are off.

This shameful, cowardly piece titled “Genesis of Siphoning Local Government Funds in Imo” is not just a blatant distortion of history—it is an insult to the intelligence of Ndi Imo, and it shall not stand unchallenged.

Let us, therefore, light the torch of truth and burn every word of that treacherous pamphlet to ashes.

*PART 1: WHO IS PARADOX? ANONYMOUS COWARDS CAN’T TEACH US HISTORY*

We begin with a question: Who is “Paradox”?
A man too ashamed to sign his name to slander. A hired online thug. A character assassin lurking in digital gutters. You can always tell a lie by the coward who tells it.

Let it be known: history will never be revised by cowards.

*PART 2: THE LGA FUNDS FALSEHOOD – A DEADLY LIE*

The central claim of this worthless piece is that Dr. Ikedi Ohakim “pioneered the diversion of local government funds” in Imo.

This is a filthy lie. A historically stupid, malicious lie.

*FACT CHECK:*

Ikedi Ohakim was the first governor in Imo State to establish and empower the Due Process and Procurement Agency—a revolutionary move in financial transparency.

Every Kobo allocated to Imo’s LGAs from the Federation Account was transparently administered through the Joint Allocation Committee (JAAC) with full monthly records.

If any funds were “siphoned,” where is the EFCC report? Where are the audit queries? Where are the indictments? Let the coward bring evidence or remain eternally buried in shame.

This is the same Ohakim whose government was ranked among the top 5 most transparent in Nigeria (Source: BudgIT & World Bank Sub-National Governance Scorecard, 2010).

*PART 3: LGA ELECTIONS – WHAT UDENWA COULDN’T DO, OHAKIM DID*

Another brain-dead lie: that Ohakim refused to conduct LGA elections.

REALITY CHECK:

Ohakim conducted full local government elections in August 2010, monitored by national and international observers.

Udenwa—who the coward Paradox tries to deify—ran transition committees for almost 6 years before conducting a single election in 2004.

The 2010 elections under Ohakim were legal, and the councils functioned until 2011 when Rochas Okorocha ILLEGALLY dissolved them and plunged Imo into a 12-year dictatorship of transition committees—the very rot Paradox is too scared to write about.

*PART 4: THE ALGON LIES – A CONVENIENT AMNESIA*

Paradox claims that the suffering of ALGON officials was caused by Ohakim.

FALSE!

*The facts are clear:*

The ALGON officials were sacked unconstitutionally by Rochas Okorocha in 2011, not Ohakim.

It was this illegal sack that led to a decade-long litigation.

Ohakim’s administration paid all entitlements of his ALGON officials up to 2011. If you claim otherwise, show receipts, show court judgments. You can’t.

It is therefore wicked, vindictive, and cowardly to blame a man who handed over power in peace for a crime committed by his successor in lawlessness.

*PART 5: PROPERTY ABROAD AND TOYOTA CARS? SHOW US THE EVIDENCE!*

This is where the absurdity of the article collapses completely.

Paradox claims Ohakim bought properties abroad and gifted 100 Toyota cars to cronies from LGA funds. What level of intellectual rot is this?

Where are the properties? Where are the land titles? Where are the EFCC charges?  What budget line was violated? Which Auditor-General’s report raised the alarm?  This is pure beer-parlour gossip packaged as journalism.

The EFCC invited Ohakim after he left office. After thorough investigation, no charge related to LGA funds was brought against him.

This is the same Ohakim who ran a clean government with zero domestic debt and handed over a solvent state with N26.8 billion in state accounts and no unpaid contractor debt. (Source: Imo State Handover Note, 2011).

*PART 6: THE “NO FEAR OF GOD” CLAIM – A SHAMEFUL ATTACK ON CHARACTER*

This is not just false—it is blasphemous. Ohakim is a man of deep Catholic faith who governed with conscience, compassion, and clarity.

Under his tenure:

Retirees were paid monthly.

10,000 graduates were recruited transparently.

Youths were empowered under the Youth Must Work scheme.

Free Maternal Healthcare was expanded.

Over 300 rural roads were rehabilitated through IROMA.

If this is not the fear of God in action, then we ask: what did Paradox smoke before writing?

*PART 7: THE TRUTH THEY CANNOT ERASE*

Here is the truth they can’t stand:

Ikedi Ohakim is the only Imo governor to govern for four years without a single street protest over unpaid salaries or pensions.

He is the only governor to complete a full term without borrowing recklessly or mortgaging the future of Imo children.

He ran a clean, disciplined, visionary administration that laid the foundation for modern governance in Imo.

They hate this because it exposes their own emptiness.

*FINAL WORD TO PARADOX & CO: NEVER AGAIN*

To Paradox and his cowardly enablers, we say: Your lies have expired.

You have no standing to talk about good governance. You who are afraid to sign your name to your own slander. You who feed on the crumbs of political scavengers. You who were nowhere to be found when Ohakim was battling the cartels to restore sanity in governance.

Imo people know better now.

This 2027, we will not just tell the truth. We will defend it. We will publish it. We will march with it. We will vote with it. And we will restore Ikedi Ohakim to where he belongs: Douglas House.

Because history has not forgotten—and neither have we.
