Violence: Gunshots At Venue Of Pro-Wike Rally In Bayelsa –
There was palpable tension on Saturday in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, over sounds of gunshots at the venue of the mega rally by a group, NEW Associates, loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, in a footage obtained by SIXT-MEDIA LANE
The rally is being organised by the group coordinated by George Turnah, who is the Zonal Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-South Zone and the current Acting Chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa State.
The rally was ongoing when sounds of gunshots blazed across the area.
Normalcy has, however, been restored.
