WHO DOES OTTI REPRESENT?
The results of recently concluded Governorship election reveals that Abia State is the first capture of the Labour Party.
It was such a welcome development, especially given the rascally nature of the entire 2023 INEC led election. Most worrisome however is the unbecoming utterances and conducts of Abia Governor elect with regards to his victory and incumbent Governor.
Firstly, whereas someone like Sen. Abaribe was wise to appreciate the efforts of Obidients, Otti is reported to have said that his victory is not tied to the Obidient Movement.
As if this is not enough, Otti further sought and got court order to freeze the account of Abia State. The question which right-thinking persons now ask is: Who does Otti represent? Is Otti still under the deluge of APC?
Granted that Otti is entitled to his views with regards to whether LP/Obi takes credit for his victory, no reference can be made of any known precedence to his court action against Abia State. In 2015, Buhari did not freeze the Federation account just because he is President elect.
With the jankara Court order fraudulently obtained from a compromised Judge, Otti is coming across as one who is getting power drunk already. Well-meaning people, especially the leadership of LP must call him to order.
