H.E ATIKU ABUBAKAR HAS PLEDGE TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE NIGERIANS HAS BEEN LONGING FOR ~ HON TAIWO ALADEFA
Over the cause of this campaign period, H.E Atiku Abubakar have traversed almost every nooks and crannies of Nigeria: from Kano to Anambra to Oyo to Kaduna to Rivers and to Lagos while some parts were also visited by to join our people in celebration and dialogue.
Like he has always seen, the terrible state of our roads has never changed. This is one of the very many problems we face as a country because it affect our food security and even the security of lives.
These things are the basic needs of citizens. It is a right and not a privilege. We have so many categories of these roads, each with their own peculiarities and importance but some being Federal Trunk A Roads are more important than others, because of their direct importance to our daily survival.
Fortunately for us, the government is always awarding road construction contracts on a daily basis without adequate government funding, thus hampering road construction projects.
As one who has studied the nation’s Budget for over a decade and has appraised the Expenditure Framework for these years, I know that it is almost impossible for Federal Government to adequately fund Interstate roads vide Federal Budget/Appropriation, except through other innovative means. As such H.E Atiku Abubakar will come up with innovative means of funding road infrastructure projects in securing the much needed funding for major road projects in Nigeria . It is also my hope that the funding model adopted, will become a model for other infrastructure projects, thereby improving the welfare and security of the people.
I hereby solicit for your votes enmass in the forthcoming election so that we can have equal opportunity good governance election.
